VS Code New Browser Version! - vscode.dev | How to use Vs Code in Browser

 

This news is real, you can now use VS Code on your browser officially! About 4-5 days ago (21 October 2021), Visual Studio Code Team had a livestream to announce this great news. The 1 hour livestream shared the exciting news that's going to change coding and programming a lot.

The new online VS Code can now be accessed at vscode.dev and you can watch my video short where I show quickly about it.

VS Code Web is going to help a lot but mainly in 2 ways.

1. People with Old/Weak Laptops

If you have an old or weak laptop, vscode.dev will help because it's running online and you don't need to download the app. This means people with slow limited storage laptops will not have to spend storage for VS Code as they can run it in the browser.

2. Collaboration

Working online is easy for working together in teams and its also easy to link it to GitHub and more. You can also easily use VS Code on the go on your friend's pc too as long as they have good internet and a browser on their PC.
